Anne Hathaway’s Cottage is the most romantic of the five Shakespeare houses with its stunning cottage garden, traditional orchards, sculpture trail and woodland walk. It was the family home of William Shakespeare’s wife, Anne Hathaway, and is where the young Shakespeare courted her before they married. The house has welcomed visitors since the nineteenth century including prominent writers such as Alfred Tennyson and Charles Dickens.
Today the charming cottage and gardens delight visitors from around the world.
