A keepered fishery providing an opportunity to fish for wild and stocked brown trout and grayling throughout its waters.
The Estate’s fishery totals some 4.5 miles of double bank fishing on the upper stretches of the River Wharfe. Fishing for Brown Trout and Grayling can be enjoyed by anglers of all ages and experience.
Our River Keeper has a wealth of knowledge of the river and is also a member of the Association of Advanced Professional Game Angling Instructors (AAPGAI). He is highly qualified to teach beginners and experienced anglers the skills and river craft to improve an angler’s enjoyment, understanding and confidence, enabling a better experience of fishing this beautiful stretch of the River Wharfe.
