Founded in 1926, and still in its original building, Bridgwater Museum is situated in a quiet back street of Bridgwater. The museum is housed in the reputed birthplace of Robert Blake, Cromwell’s General-at-Sea. With the collections covering Bridgwater and the surrounding areas, we have fascinating displays waiting for you to discover. But we are not just about Blake we have something for everyone from Stone Age to Modern Age.
Entry is free and you are welcome to bring your own picnic to enjoy in the garden.
