Pinetum Park & Pine Lodge Gardens, being situated on the warm and sheltered south coast of St.Austell Bay, in Cornwall, provide excellent growing conditions for rare, unusual and tender plants. Many have been grown from seed from plant hunting expeditions all over the world to which Shirley and Ray Clemo first bought the gardens in 1976.
The collection at Pinetum Park & Pine Lodge Gardens now stands at well over 6,000 plants, all labelled, in over 30 acres of gardens to include a pinetum, arboretum, Japanese garden, a 2 acre Winter garden, lake with water fowl and black swans, and many other water features.
Planting in Pinetum Park & Pine Lodge Gardens has been very carefully planned to provide interest throughout the year. The Gardens are regarded as having several dimensions, not least of which is scent, and this becomes apparent during your walk around Pinetum Park & Pine Lodge Gardens. Dogs on leads are welcome in the garden all year round.
Pinetum Park & Pine Lodge Gardens is an all year round attraction!
