WHATEVER YOUR SKILLS, WE NEED YOU
Our dedicated Volunteers come from many different backgrounds and walks of life and the RH&DR could not function without them.
Together Volunteers and paid staff work as a team to operate, maintain and improve the Railway, and to ensure that it remains one of Kent’s Top Visitor Attractions and that its unique history is preserved for generations to come.
Whether you have just a few hours a week to spare, whole days or even weeks, these are just some of the ways in which you can get involved;
• Maintaining our engines, carriages and track
• Administrative duties
• Assisting visitors
• Providing feedback on ways to improve
• Selling tickets and merchandise at our stations
• Helping out with serving in our cafés
