Discover a little-known treasure of the North York Moors - the buildings of Temple Lushington Moore.
Described as 'Arguably the greatest of all victorian church architects' he was involved with dozens of buildings in and around the moors, in some wonderful locations. The trail highlights more than 20 of these, together with places to eat and drink and other things to do nearby.
The Temple Moore Trail suggests routes to explore by walking, taking your bike or driving. There's an app to help, and lots of info on the website about Temple Moore and his Helmsley-based champion, the redoubtable Vicar Gray.
